Description
This simple yet productive set of 12 actions will help you create several common portrait effects, and particularly wedding portraits. The set consists of 11 effects, plus an action with some brief instructions and pointers.
Included in the set is an action to help enhance skin tones, 4 black and white conversions, a dramatic light contrast action, and 5 variations of soft filter effects.
While these actions were made specifically for use on your wedding pictures, feel free to experiment on other types of images as well. Also, you can acheive a wide variety of results by combining these actions on the same image.

The following briefly describes each action:

1. "Instructions"
Just a few pointers to get you started

2. "Improve Skin Tones"
This subtle action will accentuate the peach hues in your image, yeilding noticably more attractive skin tones.

3. "B/W Conversion (Purity)"
The effect results in very attractive, light skin while maintaining a nice contrast.

4. "B/W Conversion (Whisper)"
Very much a classic looking conversion, the image is given medium contrast with a slight sepia tone.

5. "B/W Conversion (Timeless)"
This gentle conversion gives your image a soft contrast in the highs, medium contrast in blacks, with barely a hint of warmth. Like a modern image taken using black & white film.

6. "B/W Conversion (Generations)"
This throwback conversion gives an "antique" feeling to your picture. Complete with sepia tone, grain, and a high contrast in the highs.

7. "Dynamic Light Contrast"
Find the right image, and this effect will amaze you. It lightens your image, while still preserving a good contrast in the mids and lows.

8. "Soft (Subtle)"
Attempts to preserve color and tonal range while approximating the look of a soft filter #1.

9. "Soft (Normal)"
Attempts to preserve color and tonal range while approximating the look of a soft filter #2.

10. "Soft (Strong)"
Attempts to preserve color and tonal range while approximating the look of a soft filter #2.

11. "Soft (Daydream)"
Lightens the overall image and applies a strong soft filter effect.

12. "Soft (Night Visions)
Darkens the mids while smoothing out the highs and applying a strong soft filter effect.

Instructions
Just load the actions into Photoshop, make sure you have a flattened image open, and press "play"!

Burned Picture
Photoshop Actions

Усовершенствованный мною вариант предыдущего аction. Теперь его можно применить к любому изображению. Обрабатывает в три этапа: обгорелый край (дает возможность делать выделение в любом месте) --> волнистые края --> сепия. После завершения каждого этапа я добавила "стоп" чтобы вы могли решить какие именно эффекты вам нужны.

Инструкции:
Загрузить аction в ФШ. Открыть изображение. Нажать "Play"

This action removes the white from an active layer, leaving the white area transparent.

SUPPORT INFORMATION
Select your layer and run the action in accordance to your file type (RGB, CMYK, or Grayscale).
If you get this error, "The command 'Remove White Matte' is not currently available," that is because you have the background layer selected. If you have only one layer, press ctrl+j to duplicate it, and then ctrl+a on layer bg, delete. Then run the action on the duplicate layer, and it will work flawlessly!

1. Put the .ATN file in a directory of your choice. It does not need to be in the Photoshop directory. 2. Choose Load Actions from the Actions palette menu. 3. Select the action set file from die directory you saved it. 4. Click Load. 5. Play it.

Soft Classic, plus four others in a multi-use set

I've been working on this ever since I came out with S.O.F.T. This is a collection of various actions for many uses. Please feel free to let me know about any suggestions you have , as I will continue to improve it. Many of the actions may work on lower ps versions as well. Here's what it includes. 1. Soft Classic Enhancer. This is my favorite soft effect. it has a great range of uses from adding drama to a nature shot, to giving a beautiful soft glow to to portraits. This one is good to try on any image. 2. Portrait Prep Basic This is neat, however it's not right for everything. It can be used as a high contast enhancer, as well as another soft effect. 3. Image Boost This a a time saver. It is used mainly for bringing to life images that are a bit dark, and It works on about anything.This one has saved me tons of time. 4. Nature Light. This is a general purpose adjustable action, for nature shots. 5. B+W Collection This gives b+w, plus sepia, and infrared effe

Push Play.... After the effects are finished, you can use the opacity sliders to change the effect amount.

Action for an aged, toy camera appearance

This Photoshop Action makes images look as though they are aged prints shot on a 'Toy Camera' or an antique camera. Also included are two actions which create borders similar to those seen on photos from many antique or toy cameras.

Tintype by Dave Ward Photography
Imitate the look of old tintype photos.

This Photoshop Action creates faux tintype (ferrotype) effects. The action file has two different tintype effects. The first one creates a light tintype result, while the second creates a darker tintype result. Both effects were created using real tintype photos as examples, and sampling the actual colors from the tintypes.

The effect works best on a fairly large image, from about 1000 pixels or more in height/width.
